El proceso editorial de una revista está lleno de protagonistas invisibles. Desde la recepción de un artículo hasta la diagramación y publicación de la revista acontecen innumerables etapas. Incluso, cuando un autor envía su propuesta de artículo ya se han desarrollado múltiples procesos de investigación, reflexión y escritura académica que posibilitan la aceptación de su texto. - The Educational Contribution of an Aesthetic of Andeanness: Considerations on a Recent Philosophical and Literary Research Study

Aim: This article seeks to critically reflect on the issues and ideas proposed by Liliana Mannina de Gamero in Andean Silence: Marker of Identity .Towards an aesthetic of Andeanness. Description: Priority is given to a methodology of hermeneutics, which consists of interpreting selected texts in order to analyze them. These texts were selected in an attempt to uncover the various levels of understanding articulated in the study by Mannina de Gamero, the questions she poses, and the issues that arise as a result of this questioning. Point of view: The aesthetic of the author is established through a critical analysis of the humanistic contributions of three Argentinian poets: Juan Draghi Lucero, Manuel J. Castilla, and Héctor D. Gatica. This article is not limited to a specialized audience but rather seeks to stimulate the pleasurable reading of these three poets. Conclusions: The approach developed by Mannina de Gamero about the aesthetic of Andeanness contributes to the reassessment, on the conceptual basis of the relationship between writing poetry and thinking, of the existential question of identity and historical recognition presupposed by every educational phenomenon in Latin America. - “Nic dwa razy,” “nada dos veces,” “nothing twice”: An analysis of the translation of the poetry of Wisława Szymborska

Aim: Communication between cultures is made possible through interpreters and translators, with written texts generating awareness of populations. That said, in literature, particularly in poetry, a paradigm of translatability and liberty arises. In order to illustrate this, we propose in the line of translation studies of the glot ta research group a semantic analysis of the Spanish and English versions of the poem “Nagrobek” by the recipient of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Literature and one of the most prominent figures in Polish poetry, Wisława Szymborska. Description: The analysis in this article, based on a typology of reflection, shows that to translate is to go beyond the merely linguistic: our emphasis has as its center the meaning, the receiver/reader, and his or her possible reactions to three versions of translation. Point of view: The theoretical framework revolves around the approaches of dynamic and formal equivalence of Eugene Nida. Conclusions: The effect produced by a translation is not identical to the original, instead var ying among the different languages of the versions put forward of the same text. We concluded that a work translated by several translators, although of the same original text, will never produce one single product. It is clear that translators of poetic texts must distance themselves from the original to take liberties and recreate it, as in translation there must be “nothing twice.” - Trends in the Colombian labor market and their relationship with the academic profiles of higher education

Introduction: This article presents the results of the research project “Trends in the Colombian labor market for marketing and advertising professionals,” which sought to identify the job opportunities for marketing and advertising professionals. Methodology: The study is descriptive and lists the competencies, positions, and functions according to the needs—as well as advances in science, technology, and development relevant to these disciplines. It began by describing the profiles of graduates of 28 academic programs in marketing, advertising, and related areas who are members of the Association of Marketing Programs; it additionally described the requirements of professionals from 136 companies in five cities in Colombia. Results: It was found that a marketing and advertising professional must be prepared to manage projects with a broad business vision in line with the marketing trends, economic changes, and free trade agreements that guide the local market, using a variety of brand positioning and product development strategies. Conclusions: It concluded that the curricular design of the programs offered in Colombia is very close to the labor trends demanded by the business sector, thus meeting the training expectations of the country’s economic sectors - Mark Twain, la argumentación y la persuasión: reseña del capítulo “From Conceptual Meaning to Intentional Meaning in Argumentative Persuasion: A Literary Case”

Aquel sábado prometía para Tom Sawyer ser un día verdaderamente desdichado. Como única “distracción”, la tía Polly le había entregado una brocha y un bote de pintura, y le había ordenado pintar una cerca de madera. Pero el buen uso de las técnicas comunicativas le ayudó a terminar la jornada más descansado de lo que hubiera podido imaginar, y con recompensa añadida. - The Literacy Processes of Text Messages on Social Networks for the Teaching of ele

Introduction: This article presents the results of the research study titled “Implementation of the c1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (2012),” which led to one of the sections of Communicating in Spanish: The Best Option . This book is divided into several sections, and the section mentioned is titled “Share your ideas with your social network.” Methodology: An action research study was developed to achieve the aim. The method was inductive, as the use of a variety of readings and the writing of text messages allowed foreigners to use social networks for academic purposes. The exercises were applied to a group of four international students: three German students and one Chinese student between the ages of 18 and 23 interested in learning, improving, and speaking Spanish as a foreign language (ele). Results: It was found that the international students improved their literacy processes: this was reflected in the recognition and contextualization that the ele learners demonstrated when completing each reading and writing exercise through text messages and the communicative intentions surrounding their use in certain contexts. Conclusions: In adherence to the instructions of the exercises in the section titled “Share your ideas with your social network” in Communicating in Spanish: The Best Option , international students initially completed the exercises by using reading and writing on social networks. This research greatly contributed to the learners’ command of the Spanish language. - Evaluation of a training experience for university professors in the development of digital educational resources

Introduction: The evaluation of the results of a training in educational resources for teachers from the Engineering and Technology Center at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California was proposed as a strategy of inter-institutional collaboration between Mexico and Colombia. Methodology: The type of research used was descriptive with a mixed approach. Data were collected using a survey instrument of 13 questions and a purposive sample of 10 teachers. Results: Eight variables (gender, age, teaching method, expectations, relevance, motivation, student learning, and tools) were defined, the internal consistency of the instrument (Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.879, Cronbach’s alpha of 0.947) was evaluated, and it was found that a training designed to meet real needs has a positive impact on teachers. Conclusions: The planning of and participation in trainings increases the motivation and interest of teachers. Trainings also foster a favorable environment for the incorporation and use of teaching resources in virtual classrooms as a teaching strategy. - The State of Research on Reading Comprehension in University Students

Introduction: This article analyzes research from the past five years on the reading comprehension of university students (2009-2014). This research had to contain topics that were recent, innovative, relevant, and based on the identification of tools, strategies, difficulties, and less obvious aspects that contribute to the development of new knowledge to be used as a tool in the collection of other analyses. Topics such as text comprehension and its processes and characteristics were among those found. All of this was carried out through the line of research of teaching of the Spanish language and literature at the Universidad de la Am- azonia and approved by the Research Committee of the Spanish Language and Literature Program of the Department of Education Sciences. Methodology: The content of 50 research studies with a focus on methodology, theoretical referents, and trends was analyzed in order to obtain an assessment at the national and international level. Results: Deficiencies, techniques, and elements related to the processes of reading and understanding in university students were identified. Conclusions: The research serves as an overview of the current conditions that dominate in the field of reading and indicates a lack of awareness of the reader expectations that students manage to develop in this constant task.
