This interview inquiries about what feminist movements have conquered including gender equality within the public policies discussions. A social movement framed into the struggle context seeking “recognition” which must explains the moral maturity of societies. At the same time, it is a debate about what we might call its “discursive order” and upon the context in which feminists movements have emerged in both Colombia and Venezuela. This paper concludes that gender equality as a discourse and action is the way in which men and women are each other represented as parts of a political sphere, within the polis context, where human relationships logics exist ruling in men and women interactions are present. - Spinoza’s legacy

This essay by Richard Rorty is built upon a fundamental thesis: that Spinoza started a philosophical tradition that eventually would end on pragmatism. The superation of cartesian dualism by the means of understanding body and mind as parts of the same unity allows a certain realization of the world that finally enables us to question: which is the nature of truth? - Henri Bergson and the indivisible continuity of reality

According to Henri Bergson, the representations we make of time and matter, since ancient times result from our vital needs. The divisions (in seconds or minutes, in substances or objects) are abstractions we create to control reality, but the essence of reality is pure continuity. In this paper, we will introduce a capital concept in Bergson’s philosophy, duration (I), and analyze its nature as a qualitative multiplicity (II). Next, we will study the problems “classical metaphysics” has incurred in conceiving the different manifestations of duration as a quantitative multiplicity, and not as a qualitative multiplicity (III). Finally, we will see how these mistakes depend on the way in which the human being perceives reality, in order to act and cooperate (IV). It is the purpose of this paper to demonstrate that, according to Henri Bergson, reality is essentially duration, i.e., pure continuity. - Virtuality and heterotopia: ways of understanding the internet-society relationship

Quality in education is a subject of great boom and discussion today, especially in Latin American contexts. Historical, cultural, social and economic changes undoubtedly permeate education and its systems. The needs of the population also change with the passage of time, innovations and openness in the scientific and technological field, make education is renewed and open to the world. Under these conditions, the great concern of governments and scholars of the subject has been how to offer quality education in Latin American countries. The quantifiable measurements of educative quality, in a certain way allow to verify the acquisition and generation of knowledge in the students, but beyond the quantitative aspects, it is vital to give the pertinent importance to the qualitative processes, which are manifested essentially in the impact and the social transformation of the contexts in which students develop; the educational systems can be of quality, insofar as they plan their strategies with the participation of all the actors involved in the school. - The text as a gift. A general theory of the text can help to think about the condition of the possibility of the text and of what occurs in it. Textuality is given as human action (action of an actor, of the text and its world, and of the reader-interpreter). But the text is also capable of composing the divine action (the divine action enters the discourse through semantic, metaphorical, and symbolic elements). A paradigmatic narrative can be Gn 3, 1-7. This is susceptible to a symbolic reading of its language in the perspective of the donation experience in the text. - Some reflections about the methodology of Harun Farocki

After the reading of “Harun Farocki, the missing image or the critical point of the images” by Diego Fernández (2014), the issue of the legibility of the images and what these conceal, an «outside» granter of meaning, arises. Using the discussion proposed by Fernández as a point of reference, this article seeks to explicit the linguistic procedures by which Farocki operates, addressing the issue from the field of filmic studies. - Panel “Past, Present and Future: Development of Psychology Programs in the Department of Meta and their Relation to Labor-Union Process”
