This article presents the results of institutional research developed by the “Escuela de Telemática y Electrónica de la Policía Nacional de Colombia” in 2008, and comprehended scientific and technological process which had as central objects of study the optimization of the remote-robotic platform for exploration and the improvement of National Police operational units support verification in their tactical actions to combat criminal gangs and terrorism. The research at an early stage has been developed by students from the school in 2007, and at this new phase was examined the technical viability to integrate to the platform a visual tracking system using a wireless network camera and the installation of sensors to improve their characteristics operations, among others, to minimize the many risks faced daily by members of security forces at the process of exploration or verification of an area or a potentially dangerous element. - Legal education as a practice of social construction towards a pedagogical reflection

This article attempts to address the study of the field of legal education as a criterion where the pedagogical practice in the teaching of Law and its relation with the social space are questioned. Law as discipline in our country considers a civil law tradition as an immediate source of our system and legal culture. This presupposition orientates the ways as legal educational models are structured in relation with the pedagogical practices and perceptions of law in our society. To date, the studies that address the field of legal education start from some considerations of the way as legal knowledge in the teaching of law are transmitted. This research is aimed to show whether, in the National Police, is possible to evaluate each of its members in an objective manner, since it applied the number three evaluation form set out in Decree 1800/2000 in addiction to the systematization of the information. This review article discusses the higher education as an element within the formal education system, which materializes the right to education as a fundamental right within the Welfare State of Law and educational activities as part of the structural quality of education within society. Quality and relevance, as well as the tension between these principles are presented as key elements that make up the system of institutional education. This paper aimed to outline briefly the main features of the Industrial Property Law in the positive system of Brazil, as well as examining the grounds on which rests the protection offered by legislation for inventions, utility models, industrial designs and trademarks. In this context, along with analysis of key characteristics of industrial property rights were addressed the international regime of intellectual property, the legal texts dealing with such matters in Brazil, as well as it was revealed the need to harmonize the powers of the regulator. The complexity and richness of the theme avoid the analysis in this short paper of many issues of great importance. However, it is hoped that this study serves as a starting point for those interested in the positive system of Brazilian industrial property protection. - Redes de colaboración científica análisis y visualización de patrones de coautoría

The following text presents the progress of a research work which belongs to the research line concerned on learning difficulties and mistake control. The main objective of this study is to illustrate the use of the personal dictionary of difficulties as a useful instrument to support difficulties in the learning and teaching processes of English as second language. The carried process was a collaborative work between both teacher and students. In addition, there is an emphasis on the immeasurable value of the student’s interlingua when reflecting on the processes of learning a foreign language. This becomes an essential instrument to reinforce students’ autonomy, along with the idea of learning how to learn, and moreover overpass the difficulties implied when writing a foreign language. - Jurisprudential discussion about eventual deciet and guilt of representation in homicide offenses resulting in traffic accidents

Given the social impact caused by child abuse, its growth in Colombia in recent years and the limited interventions associated to physical disability related to musculoskeletal injuries in assaulted children, this research was proposed. Microelectronics Advanced signal processing is really reaching the dream of bringing to the reality the fusion between mankind and machine. In these artificial systems, the flow of information is done through data cables, and in some cases, by means of radio links, and the equivalent process of communication occurs to living beings, but the transfer takes place through the nerves.
