Starting from the complex vision of sciences, systemic thinking, company management systems and learning as a key process (biopedagogy), this paper proposes the use of audits as a tool to promote learning and generate knowledge and improvement in the organization, considering the auditor/audited relationship. To this end, a comparison is made between the positivist paradigm and science complex view. The concept of system is reviewed, identifying as its central characteristic the connections between its components and points out the importance of prioritizing those relationships to understand the organization. Identifies the regulatory requirements of the management models associated with knowledge and reviews them within the framework of biopedagogy and complexity. Finally, it analyzes the audits meaning and presents proposals that can contribute to the evaluation’ system from the interactions between its components and the knowledge generation, based on a cooperation and teamwork approach. - Corporate social responsibility strategy of a harbour terminal in Barranquilla, Colombia

The paper is the product of a research whose objective is to characterize the Corporate Social Responsibility actions that a Harbour Terminal practices to later propose corrective actions that help sustain this type of initiatives. The method of analysis was applied, with a qualitative, descriptive approach under a documentary, bibliographic design. After the data analysis, it was found that the company enjoys of an ethical framework based on corporate values and principles aligned to its economic activity, developing social actions from four pillars that respond to the social, economic and environmental dimensions, nevertheless, it is required to reinvigorate the interactive media and mass media instrumentation. As a conclusion, it is suggested that the Terminal must replicate the Bolívar and Sucre models that have made it worthy of distinctions, and integrate collective intelligence into its social responsibility strategy that allows it to develop competences in employees such as: cooperation, teamwork and the integrative approach. - Proposal to strengthen the organizational quality management system in a financial entity of the colombian public sector

Continuous improvement means optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency to respond to needs of customers associated with products and services, it is a challenge for any organization. As a general rule public entities must comply with the Quality Management System (SGC) established in the NTCGP 1000: 2009 standard. However, as in the case of the entity subject of this paper, based on historical information and a perception instrument, deficiencies were evident, given the lack of a continuous improvement specific methodology and weaknesses in people management regarding the quality culture, causing non-compliance of the standard’s requirements and principles, this also has affected some processes effectiveness, as well as the satisfaction of the citizen, aspect represented in an average claims per year between 7,000 and 8,000 and about 1,800 findings in the last six years with the aggravating circumstance of not being handled in time or in some cases not having the improvement adequately covered. From the aforemetioned, this project aimed to design a proposal that will lead to the processes effectiveness improvement to deliver products and services that meet the client’ expectations. The proposal developed has three phases: diagnosis of the QMS, improvement management team, improvement process design and implementation and a transversal axis of quality culture management. Each phase is supported by a set of methods and techniques. As a result of its application, the organization must improve its activities efficiency, represented in better citizen satisfaction rates. - "Return to work" guide, business necessity for the adequate implementation of the rehabilitation, reincorporation and labor relocation processes within the workplace safety and health management system

The socio-occupational integration is considered as the professional rehabilitation’s immediate objective and the integral rehabilitation’s goal. Its intervention is oriented to the recovery and development of the capability of the person who has suffered some capacity decrease to exercise a function or a position, to perform productive functions in different contexts, based on the quality standards established by the productive sector; the rehabilitation, reincorporation or labor relocation processes are poorly known by employers and information about them is scarce and little standardized, which difficults their final success. Therefore, through this qualitative research, developed through a review of the matter’s state of the art, we look up to build a technical document - instructional and pedagogical, called "back to work", which will allow those in charge of the System Occupational Health and Safety Management, Human Resource Managers, Executives and others involved in the process, effectively apply these strategies to reduce time losses due to temporary disability and for the worker to succesfully return to the work environment, maintaining its role as a society’s productive actor. - Diagnosis of the current situation of a food services company regarding the requirements compliance of ISO 9001: 2015 standard for a quality management system

Nowadays, companies around the world are in a highly competitive environment where customers are increasingly demanding and look for products or services whose quality allows them to fully satisfy their requirements; therefore, those who want to remain in the long term must implement strategies that allow them to demonstrate their ability to meet the needs and expectations of their clients and other interested parties. This paper’s purpose is to diagnose the current situation of a food services company regarding the compliance requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 for a quality management system. In order to achieve the objective, the standard requirements were identified initially, then a tool was designed to evaluate the company's compliance of the standard identified requirements, later an audit of the company’s quality management system current situation was carried out in relation with the standard and finally a report of compliance and action plans was presented. The results proved that the company under study has a low compliance concerning the norm. - Lean manufacturing: 5 s and TPM, quality improvement tools. Any process of continuous improvement must promote that working conditions are presented in such a way that delays, operational losses or any failure are gradually reduced, so that the use of resources is as close as possible to the optimum. For this reason, it has been established as the primary objective in this study to determine a lean implementation proposal, through the use of lean production and process reliability tools, so as to promote the pursuit of mutual benefit in the use of opportunities for resources and processes improvement and optimization. Thus, measurements of the current system were made versus the proposed or improved one, in order to facilitate the operation, the work routines management, the facilities physical environment and the motivation growth of the whole staff in the company. This type of research is presented in a descriptive way, based on the Lean Manufacturing tools such as the five “S”s (5 s) and reliability maintenance tools through their concepts and the use of Weibull ++ 6 software. - The management of the value chain in a competitive and changing environment

This scientific research article aims to measure the attitudes shown by avocado exporting companies, located in Uruapan, Michoacán, regarding differentiating activities such as environmental management, relationship management and quality. In present times competitiveness arises as a concept of vital importance influenced by globalization, searching strategies that turn out into competitive advantages that allow companies to obtain a good position in the global market. This work has a descriptive correlational design, the variables were analyzed through the SPSS software. The main findings shows that the the value chain economic agents give greater importance to relations with customers and suppliers than to quality and environmental management, currently very important in the competition field. In this work, indicators, dimensions and variables were measured, clearly identifying the background of the competitive advantage source. - Measurement of work engagement and its relationship with communication, leadership and TIC's in a mexican editorial company

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of Work Engagement (called from now on Work Commitment) and its relationship with communication, leadership and the information and communication technologies’ use, variables that influence the workers behavior. These variables require statistical analysis validated by the analysis of the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, subsequently the variables rank correlation concerning the commitment at work within a Spearman's rho correlation coefficient, finally the range identification and its checking general measurement. The mixed research method was used because of its characteristics, since the qualitative and quantitative approach helps to explain clearly the executed phenomenon. The results obtained shows that two of the variables analyzed have significant influence on the commitment at work, which gives a guideline to the Publishing Company to perform corrective actions looking to improve the workers commitment. - Integrated management as a productivity tool

Management involves logical paths in search of creative solutions to the problems of the processes and the administration of the organization. Therefore, it is essential to have the participation of senior management in the embracement, by the organization, of management systems based on international technical standards, including: quality, environmental, occupational safety and health as part of corporate social responsibility. In addition to this, the research developed by Ghodrati, Yiu and Wilkinson (2018) shows that labor management, supervision and leadership and planning improve the level of performance, of occupational health and safety. - Planning of an integrated management system for an agricultural research organization

This research paper shows the approach to structure a quality management and integrated environmental management system under the technical standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, in a public agricultural research organization that produces seeds and studies to contribute to Ecuador’s food safety. The importance of the research lies in the social impact that the organization has on the production of seeds, which will become food for the population. Through the structuring of an integrated management system, the image will be consolidated before the interested parties, generating confidence and guaranteeing that the products and services they deliver comply with international standards of environmental and quality management. To achieve the structuring of the Integrated Management System (SGI), an individual analysis of the environmental management and quality management models is conducted to find convergences enabling the proposal of an integrated management model, under the requirements of technical standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Then, a situational diagnosis is made to the organization, to determine the current status regarding quality and environmental management, in accordance with the requirements established by the technical standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, becoming a starting point for structuring the system and its subsequent implementation. As a result, an integrated management system with four phases that must be applied sequentially, is obtained. Two phases were applied in the present research study.
