This paper reviews the thought of several authors who, despite the differences, have found in the new technologies of communication a determinant element of globalization.It continues the reflection to set how the existence of these technologies, with a new meaning from educational processes, must constitute a politic alternativetoward changing exclusion and exploitation situations, and establishing a social agreement around the emancipation of women and men in the global village.
