This essay states the current situation of the descentralization in Colombia, and describes how the descentralization constitutes the necessary answer to the challenge of the new global order. It also presents some criticisms to the government inefficiency and inefficacy as well as the regions in charge of carrying it out so this can benefit every colombian citizen. Furthermore, the essay explains why the descentralization strategy in Colombia should overcome
