This article presents the results of a scoping review on research establishing relationships between sex-affective links and the use of digital technologies, published in Spanish and scientific journals in Ibero-America between 2009 and 2019. The search was carried out in the Dialnet, Psyarticles, Redalyc, Scielo, Science Direct, Scopus, and Web of Science (WOS) databases. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria to the 579 citations initially found, a final sample of 23 articles was formed. Findings indicate that research mainly deals with four topics: 1) the meanings on the use of dating apps; 2) digital phenomena related to sex-affective links; 3) sexting; 4) violence between couples on the Internet. The construction of sex-affective bonds through digital technologies deploys psychosocial phenomena such as online self-presentation, online disinhibition, and asynchronous communication.
