    Child pornography by digital means is a problem that has been increasing over time in many of the internet plataforms that not all individuals know, however, criminal law is based as a tool to regulate behavior in society which, it represents a crucial part to destructure said crime. Objective: Analyze the incidence of criminal law in the crime of child pornography in digital media in Colombia. Materials and Methods: The research belongs to the socio-legal discipline, with a qualitative and social approach, since it assumes a subjective and dynamic reality from a variety of contexts thanks to the study of the factors and the regulations implemented to date through the method inductive as the main guide to thoroughly describe the problem. The technique of this research is documentary review and text analysis, easily allowing alternatives and ideas for the development and conclusion of processes outlined by the object of study. Results: The crime of child pornography within the media world is a particularly complex activity to identify and difficult to address, because these practices are generally minimized, hidden or denied by the adult representatives of the victims. This type of child abuse consolidates events that have occurred with surprising frequency during the upbringing of many children and adolescents, for these and innumerable reasons, it is essential to frame this problem that represents the dark side of the entire internet, recognize the existence of said phenomenon in a way legal. Conclusions: The incidence of criminal law on child pornography issues is not as effective as it should be expected in cases of emergency or that require immediate attention, however, there are various government programs or organizations, where individuals can file a complaint or request help on the subject, and even belong to them permanently as victims.
