The present work is a critique to the mono-disciplinary approach often adopted in many legal studies presently. It provides an analysis of transdisciplinarity as an alternative paradigm for the resolution of social conflicts particularly environmental or socioenvironmental issues. As an alternative civilizational perspective, or as a bifurcation, the transdisciplinary scientific theory arises as a possibility of change in the structural logic for law professionals. Guided by an inductive research method, the study sought to determine the potential of the transdisciplinary paradigm as a tool for the proper enforcement of environmental law.
