Este artículo reflexiona en torno a la discusión de los últimos años respecto de la diferenciación lingüística que aparece en las crónicas de la conquista española sobre los grupos que se han denominado como la “Nación Chibcha”, conceptualización un poco difusa en el caso de las comunidades indígenas que se asentaron en el actual territorio del nororiente colombiano, que referenciaron Fray Pedro Simón, Juan de Castellanos y Lucas Fernández de Piedrahita, entre otros, como los más importantes narradores que describieron a lo que hemos denominado en este artículo como la inspiración Guanes.
This article reflects on the discussion in recent years on the linguistic differentiation that appears in the chronicles of the Spanish conquest of the groups that have been termed as the "Chibcha nation," a bit diffuse conceptualization in case of the indigenous communities who settled in the present territory of the Northeast Colombian, which referenced Fray Pedro Simón, Juan de Castellanos and Lucas Fernández de Piedrahita, among others, as the most important narrators who described what we have called in this article as the Guanes inspiration.
