The human effort for the search for the meaning of existence is inscribed in the discursive practice that religions exhibit not only of the existential situation of man but also of the experience of this with the transcendent. In fact, a language that expresses the transcendent is basically intuitive, however, the idea of lack of meaning for the contents of faith occurred through the mouth of the analytical philosophers. Hence, this article attempts to reproduce some considerations pro et contra of the contents of faith on the part of thinkers linked to the analytical school, to then emphasize a necessary contribution of philosophy in treatment of religious language.

All this poses important challenges that fundamental contextual theology in a dialogical key cannot ignore.

In this article he studies the conciliar decree Unitatis Redintegratio (1964), and the Directory for the application of the principles and norms on ecumenism (1993). These documents are used in order to postulate a concrete scenario for the laity of today, since sometimes it is not clear how the laity can act before the different Christian confessions. The present text will initially be concerned with the role of the laity in the Unitatis Redintegratio. In a second moment, he will study the Ecumenical Directory and how it influences the work of the laity in the Church. Subsequently, we will reflect on the role of the laity in ecumenism and conclude with some work perspectives.

The history of Christianity since then has been a long reflection about the foundational question: who is Jesus of Nazareth? The church’s devotion has recognized in Him an inseparable and mysterious identity that is at the same time divine and human. This article compares the Christology of the synoptic gospels with the Gospel of John concerning their approach to the humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ. These similarities and differences point to an integral and panoramic vision with strong implications for the understanding of the Christological mystery.
