This article is based on the research “Political proposals in the Colombian novel of the 20th century” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009, which consists of three parts: the triple mimesis of Ricoeur in time and narrative, the analysis of author’s environment and the dissemination of his work in school environments. The novel La Casa de las dos palmas written by Manuel Mejia makes reference to the socio-political reality of this time, the marked machismo and the subjugation of women in Colombia. The novel is worked with ninth grade students in order to motivate them to reading,taking into account theme,objectives, and indicators of achievements, accomplishments and assessment. This article is based on the research “Political proposals in the nineteenth century Colombian novel” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009. In particular, the purpose of this research is Rosario Tijeras written by the Colombian author Jorge Franco Ramos, who took inspiration from the female role for telling us about a reality of his hometown Medellin. This harsh reality, which is similar to that experienced by many Colombian young people, makes this novel significant to be used as the main element of a new educational tool which aims to bring this kind of readings into the classroom and see how these kinds of texts generate new reading habits in the students. - Rosario Tijeras: a look at the twentieth century Colombian violence

This article presents a detailed report of the process and the results from the formative research “Rosario Tijeras: A perspective from the Colombian violence in the twentieth century” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009, which aim is to study this novel written by Jorge Franco Ramos. This work is part of a macro research project called “Colombian political proposals in the novel of the twentieth century” which is focused on the Colombian violence literature from the rural and urban contexts. Jorge Franco in his novel, Rosario Tijeras, presents Medellin in its 80’s, heavily influenced by the power of drug trafficking that was generated as a result of violence, a reality in which a group of young people , were involved including Rosario Tijeras, a woman to whom life and death taught to defend herself with bullets and scissors. This research analyzes author experience ́s spaces and the novel, It also proposes a pedagogical approach which aims to bring the novel to the school to develop student ́s critical view of Colombian society. - Literature research: political postulations in the twentieth century Colombian novel

This article presents the results of the research: The politics applications contained inthe Colombian novel of the twentieth century. It started in the first semester of 2009 with V semester students of the Basic Education Degree with Emphasis in Humanities,Spanish language and English at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia in Bucaramanga. This research raised a large corpus in which some representative novels of the novel of violence in Colombia were selected. In the Colombian novel are imaginary series which are reflected in the different cultural manifestations, as the politics of this country. The research “Concepts, approaches and educacional experiences of the table for quality of education in Floridablanca”, the sociopolitical dimension of the teacher was done in 2002 at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. Some teachers from the official sector of the department of Santander have different ways of organizing self-managed, self emerging, as the teachers are part of the tables for the quality of education which shows conceptions, result of their training and in their professional performance develop experiences in which socio-political dimension is evidenced. The research project “Production of teaching materials to apply a productivity and competitiveness system in business” was done in the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga (2008-2010) with the purpose of collaborates in the context of the region. The municipality of Bucaramanga summary presents certain characteristics in the medium-sized and micro and small companies identified as SMMEs which form part of the sectors more important from the local industry, being necessary and final to establish a planning and management for the development of investment strategies, production, structural changes in the technology, training and networking, to make them much more competitive and productive in order to comprehensively strengthen regional input production chains. - LVO (Learning Virtual Objects) implementation as a methodological strategy for teaching English language

Research “Implementation of vlo as a methodological strategy for teaching the English language” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2010, is being developed at the College Aurelio Martinez Mutis for grade VI of primary education. This research is developing guidelines for aquasi-experimental design, which will take two groups, one control and one experimental, in the latter policy be implemented and supported by theoretical investigations regarding the Mozart effect and the use of music in teaching the English language. Esculcando en la obra poética de Álvaro Mutis encontramos diez nocturnos. El primero de ellos pertenece a su libro Los elementos del desastre, publicado en 1953. Los dos siguientes pertenecen al libro Los trabajos perdidos, publicado en 1964. Estos tres primeros Nocturnos hacen parte de la temática que Mutis ha denominado “Tierra caliente” y que en sus propias palabras tiene que ver con “el café, el trapiche, el podrirse, de corromperse, del continuo uso que produce el trópico”. Tal vez sus intenciones se resumen en la afirmación del poeta cuando dice que el trópico “más que una geografía es un estado espiritual”. Lo bucólico es inmensamente palpable en estos tres Nocturnos, contrario a lo que se percibe en los siete restantes, publicados en 1987 en su libro Un homenaje y siete nocturnos. En estos últimos se siente el paso del tiempo en el autor; de lo terreno y material, el poeta pasa a buscar algo menos tangible en estos siete nocturnos. - Math reading as an evolutionary process of thinking

This article presents the results of the research process “The mathematics reading process based on Piaget cognitive theory”,conducted by the research group Technologies of Information by the System Engineer program of the ucc, Bucaramanga satellite campus. A review is done on how the concepts and insights of the mathematical and sciences learning process are closely related to the process of evolution of knowledge that Piaget generalizes. Then a reflection on the evolutionary process of knowledge from the mathematical knowledge is presented, to finally reach a conclusion on the subject. - Editorial: Encontrando los rostros de los rastros

This article is an approach to life and work of the notorious thinker Noam Chomsky. We offer this section of great biographies to Noam Chomsky because of the political role he represents and which is in coherence with the dossier of this publication. The development of Transformational Generative Grammar is his first major contribution to the development of linguistic science and thought of the twentieth century. His vision about U.S. relations with Latin American countries and particularly with Colombia is the second part of this article. This article is based on research into “Political proposals in the Colombian novel of the twentieth century”of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009, this research began in the second semester of 2009 and it ended in the first semester of 2011. Specifically we work on the novel Noticia de un secuestro by Gabriel Garcia Márquez,- a Colombian writer who was born in the Caribbean region in the municipality of Aracataca (Magdalena) March 6th, 1927. This article is based on research into “Political proposals reflected in the Colombian novels of the twentieth century” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009, specifically in La virgen de los sicarios written by the Colombian author Fernando Vallejo Rendón. Fernando Vallejo writes this novel at the end of the XX century, showing the violent situation that Medellin confronted in the 90s, due to the war among and against the Pablo Escobar ́s drug traffic criminal groups and a juvenile population murderess and hungry of money. To justify the history in which the novel is developed, we have the spaces of the author’s experience. Equally with a critical literary analysis of the novel and a pedagogic proposal to carry out the novel at the school. - The literature of the violence written by women: a look from the novel ¡Viva Cristo Rey!

The article provides an analysis of the work of Colombian novelist Silvia Galvis and it is based on the research carried out on applications of the political proposals in the twentieth century Colombian novel. This research began en la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, in the second semester of 2009 and it ended in the first semester of 2011. Silvia Galvis describes in her book the confrontations between liberals and conservatives, and how women have been submitted and located in the domestic and private spaces. This article is based on the investigation “Political proposals in the book ¡Viva Cristo Rey! written by Silvia Galvis” of Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Bucaramanga, 2009, which is developed from the application of the triple mimesis of Paul Ricoeur The motivations that can be found for the production of the play in the life of the writer, such as the partisan struggle that occurred in Colombia during the first half of the twentieth century, form the first part of the job. Literary analysis of characters Alejandro Coronado (leader of the Liberal Party) and Jose Beatriz Guerrero (leader of the Conservative Party) forms the second part, and finally staging a dash of theater built for tenth grade students. It is the proposal of teaching to be implemented in a school of Bucaramanga. - The role of the Colombian farmers in the process of development of the country

This paper is the result of “Languaje, science and technology” research project which was presented as a talk in the XXVI Seminar of literature, linguistics and semiotics. It was done on December 2010 at the Universidad Industrial de Santander, Bucaramanga. This work is intended to provide some reflections concerning to the role investigations are developing to discover new ways and new technologies related with acquisition, developing and improving of language. In this purpose the most important according to the author intention is how to improve communicative skills by training and cognitive tasks well designed and applied in the educative institutions, that will contribute to get better students and beings with a substantial communicative performance. A special emphasis in this psychological approaching is to apply the new PET, FMRI, Mapping technologies to discover which process happen in the brain when people are concerned in performing any task.
