In the Historical Archive of the Province of San Luis Bertrán-Colombia (AHPSBC), there are several sermons preached by the Dominican friars of New Granada during the 18th century. Based on the historical-critical and theological methods, a theological analysis of the Transfiguration sermon is made here: Transfiguratus est ante eos (Mat 17, 2), preached on August 6, 1786; through an identification of theological categories based on biblical and patristic sources, as well as the other ecclesiastical writers proposed by the author. Due to all the iconic and apologetic language that these texts have, contributions to the History of Theology are provided through the palaeographic, archival, diplomatic and codicological analysis of the document. - Entirety of the moral sense in the priestly formation

Some elements of the Platonic philosophy established in apologetic treatises of many Christian writers among which are athenian Atenágoras and his well-known work πρεσβεία περὶ χριστιανῶν, whose version of the spanish Hellenist and theologian Daniel Ruiz will be the object of study in this text, demonstrate a special interest in the exposition of cosmology. Although this theme serves as an attempt to rationally demonstrate the transcendence of the divine and the subsequent generation of the universe because of God's design and power, it is not a meticulous exposition of the ideas of philosophers that Athenagoras himself cites but rather of a Christian exegesis about Plato’s cosmology in which it seems that such writers incurred, to make a deep reflection on faith. - Men in relation to creation: a theocentric view

This study explores the possible relationship between personified Wisdom and the Christ-Wisdom of God in 1Co 1,24-30. The Greek and Jewish wisdoms are presented as context for Paul’s writing, starting with the wisdom in the Old Testament, the figure of the personified wisdom, followed by the wisdom in the New Testament, and the relationship between personified wisdom and Jesus Christ. Later, the paper analyzes 1 Co 1-4 as the center of gravity for the noun σοφία in all of the New Testament, and as the frame of reference to understand the pericope 1 Co 1,18-31. Finally, the paper identifies the echoes between the personified wisdom and the original Christ-Wisdom of God in 1 Co 1,24.30. - Editorial
