Introduction: Informal sales in Bogota have increased due to the serious unemployment situation the country is going through. Methodology: This research is descriptive and sought to socio-demographically characterize the sample and determine the economic factors of the business and the financial products used by street vendors in the locality of Chapinero in Bogota, Colombia. As a technique, simple random sampling was used with a survey endorsed by three judges. Results: It was found that policies have been inefficient, thus creating different problems. Conclusions: Unemployment, as well as lack of resources and access to loans as seed capital, give rise to factors that, linked to the social problem, find in informal work a form of subsistence. Generally, the same problem is detected in Bogota, especially in Chapinero for being a financial and commercial sector, which provides favorable conditions to promote and multiply informal work. It is shown how informal vendor relocation policies implemented by different district administrations have been unfruitful. - The policy on social inclusion, valuation and environmental services of recycling in Bogota, Colombia

Introduction: The interrelations and interdependence taking place in an urban space, from the point of view of a social and ecological ecosystem, require joint and planned action in response to public policy. Methodology: Environmental economic valuation requires, first, an exploratory methodology to establish preferences of households, businesses and society in order to preserve the environmental services of recycling, and from this point of view, a description of the population or households to be chosen randomly throughout Bogota, Colombia is provided. Additionally, a Logit model is used for determining willingness to pay (wtp). Results: The contingent value survey allows to estimate the monetary value that population gives to recycling. This allows to estimate willingness to pay (wtp) for the environmental services of recycling, through a Logit model, considering social and economic variables. Conclusions: If the average estimated wtp is added, considering every home in Bogota, 2,395,244,880 million Colombian pesos would be collected, which represent an investment that translates into better income for recyclers in favor of a sustainable quality of life. - The new learning technologies and their involvement in social exclusion

Purpose: To provide an overview of how various changes in education have occurred in the presence of information and communications technology (ict), especially in relation to people living with disabilities. Description: With respect to the emergence of ict, knowledge societies have experienced changes in the manner in which such knowledge is appropriated. Unable to access these resources, or not trained in their use, the individual runs the risk of being left out and not be part of sectors of society ranging from personal to business and work relationships. Point of view: It can be affirmed that to the extent that the educational processes of digital literacy are improved for the knowledge and use of ict, the digital divide can be reduced. Conclusions: Education faces the challenge of trying to reduce the digital divide and in turn reduce the social gap created by it, using resources and processes, such as digital literacy, driven by different governments that have allocated as many resources as possible. - The The Canvas model in project formulation

Purpose: The aim of this article is to determine the relevance of the Canvas methodology in project formulation through model characterization, thus answering the question: Is the Canvas methodology a relevant model for project management in an entrepreneurial context? Description: The Canvas model seeks to manage projects as business units. It is a model intended for emphasizing the entrepreneurial potential in project management. For this, texts and articles that have provided the basis for working on such methodology and other older references, which have set the guidelines to discuss business plans and models, are reviewed. Point of view: The innovative and entrepreneurial context in which businesses are conducted today creates the need for simple, dynamic models that promptly react to changes in the environment and provide an organized view of the information available. Conclusions: The Canvas model is a relevant tool in a context of entrepreneurship and innovation and, while the business plan is important, it must be flexible and ready to respond to opportunities and needs (such as the signing of Messi on a napkin). - The solidarity sector as an alternative for inclusive social development in the Colombian post-conflict

Description: in order to answer this question, a summary of the evolution of the cooperative movement is presented, then the current situation of the solidarity economy sector is contextualized and, subsequently, the research proposal under the case method of Cooperativa Prosperando is described as an example. Point of view: one of the factors that has given rise to the conflict is the social problem of poverty and inequality in our country, and the application of the solidarity economy principles can be a viable solution to improve the condition of thousands of Colombians. Therefore, it is important that these matters be addressed not only in the academic sphere, but that they transcend politically and governmentally and, above all, that they come true. Purpose: The objective of this article is to propose a strategic alternative to msmes and new Colombian entrepreneurs, based on corporate social responsibility (csr), trade fair, inclusive business and shared value, as an option for new forms of production and development. Description: Each of the topics is discussed independently through a brief overview in order to make the reader aware of the new practices of doing business. Point of view: It is considered relevant and timely to establish an academic reflection that leads to visualize the action fields of csr in the Colombian case. Thus, research is needed to, first, provide clarity about the theoretical roots of csr and, at the same time, build the theoretical framework in which it is possible to identify the concepts it relates to. Conclusions: The commitment of new or renewed entrepreneurs should be thinking about the progress in their employees’ quality of life and the good living of their families, reverse logistics and supply chain sustainability, among others. - Notes for a solidarity political economy

Purpose: This article proposes an analytical and critical view of some components of solidarity economy, primarily understood as an activity aimed at the “reproduction of life”. Description: Conceptions that are not coherent with this core of meaning are discussed, while sources that may supplement or strengthen this view are addressed. Point of view: Solidarity economy, understood as the social process that enables reproduction of life, should be assumed multi-dimensionally. In it several elements that allow us to imagine the complex process that involves such vital activity converge, and it is nourished by aspects such as the Andean thought and its rich, deep value network, which lays out principles like relatedness, correspondence, complementarity and reciprocity. Conclusions: Solidarity economy, as opposed to capitalist logic, subsumes economy to life realization. Therefore, it is said that the products of solidarity economy are not only economic, but fundamentally political and cultural. - Collective Action and Rural Development: Quality Organization Institutions

Purpose: from an institutional approach, this article intends to start a debate by analyzing the most representative collective action institutions for quality organization at the territorial level, where quality certification processes are conducted to allow local communities to build certain market power and thus fix the value generated in the same territory. Description: it is also analyzed how the gaps at the level of cooperation relationships among stakeholders condition the potentiality of these institutions when facing challenges with respect to sustainable rural development in globalization. Point of view: academic literature pays little attention to the analysis of collective action of common intangible assets in local communities. Conclusions: collective quality organization represents an important collective actor for the purpose of strategically guiding the technological innovation process, with all the economic and institutional consequences this entails. If we truly manage to have a cooperative organization of this kind that takes a leading role in the diffusion of technological innovations, we will surely be in a position to think of and plan more effective and comprehensive rural development strategies. - Editorial
