Introduction: The main objective of this research is to determine the feasibility through a market study and a financial evaluation for the start-up of a jeans factory. Methodology: The methodology used is descriptive and is based on a survey applied to potential consumers, in addition mathematical models are used for financial evaluation. The theoretical referents are the theory of market research and the theory of project evaluation. Results: Among the main results, it is evident that there is a potential market that would be willing to buy the manufactured product. In addition, the financial evaluation shows a positive net present value, an internal rate of return greater than the opportunity interest rate of the project and a cost-benefit ratio greater than 1, indicating the feasibility to make the decision to make the necessary investments for the start-up of the factory.
