At the culmination of the 10 years for the implementation of the Law 1448 of 2011 for the comprehensive reparation of the victims of the Colombia armed conflict, from an interdisciplinary perspective, this paper analyzed emotional and cognitive orientation of the Mesa Departamental de Víctimas del Atlántico-MDVA, on decisions and measures implemented by institutions that were created to accomplish with the law, around the dimensions of Justice, Truth, Reparation, Restitution of land and Guarantees of non-repetition. Through a qualitative study with 19 representatives of the victims of organizations in Atlántico, we carried out a content analysis of their testimonies, supported by Atlas ti. 8.4.18 software. The results show the challenges to consider for the implementation of effective public policies linked to the implementation of the Law 1448 of 2011, meanwhile the extension until the year 2031, with the propose of contributing to peace and social reconciliation.
