- Methodological design of a strategy for the productive and sustainable development of communities in Cauca

Introduction: The productive and sustainable development in the department of Cauca depends to a large extent on the effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT). However, the institutional framework lacks mechanisms or methods to select investment projects with ICT resources. This situation has become an obstacle to economic growth and the improvement of social conditions in the region. Methods: In this article, the construction of a methodological design, one that allows for the selection and evaluation of projects with ICT resources that contribute to the solidarity economy of Cauca communities, is consolidated. The investigative process used a mixed approach, carrying out a systematic review of academic and political-organizational information, after which proposals and selection criteria used in Cauca in the last 5 years were analyzed. Results: With the information collected and analyzed, a route for the selection and evaluation of projects was compiled. Likewise, user stories were used to create a simulator that materializes the process of selecting and evaluating projects in a more efficient and effective way. Conclusions: In conclusion, the creation of the methodological design, materialized in the simulator, represents a valuable tool for the department of Cauca, since it allows for a rigorous and coherent evaluation of investment projects with ICT resources. Originality: Promoting productive growth, the solidarity economy also contributes to sustainable development for the communities of Cauca. Limitations: The sample was limited due to the geographical location of the municipalities. - Software quality testing process analysis

Introduction: This article is the result of reading, review, analysis of books, magazines and articles well known for their scientific and research quality, which have addressed the software quality testing process. The author, based on his work experience in software development companies, teaching and other areas, has compiled and selected information to argue and substantiate the importance of the software quality testing process. Methodology: the existing literature on the software quality testing process was analyzed at a local, national and global context. The ScienceDirect, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley Online Library, Proquest, Engineering Village, Scopus, Dialnet databases were thoroughly reviewed. Results: important concepts are described in the testing process, characteristics, methodologies and frameworks focused on the proper implementation of a testing process. Conclusions: The Article gives rise to results and conclusions in order for software product development companies to improve performance, effectiveness and optimization of software quality testing processes, and it is also a fundamental base to undertake software quality research processes. - Diagnóstico tecnológico de la pertinencia al implementar un laboratorio de testing de software. Contexto: Actualmente la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, campus Popayán, no cuenta con un espacio o laboratorio de testing de software, sin embargo, el testing es un elemento fundamental del control de calidad enfocado tanto en el producto como en el proceso. Se plantea un diagnostico tecnológico con el objeto de validar la pertinencia de su implementación. Método: En el artículo se realiza una revisión de las definiciones teóricas, las técnicas, los métodos, las herramientas y las características que se sugiere se deben tener en cuenta para la implementación de un laboratorio de testing a partir del marco de referencia CMMI y TMMI (referentes de la bibliografía científica). Con el método se enfatiza también la importancia del rol de las instituciones de educación superior y la enseñanza del testing de software. Resultados: El diagnostico tecnológico es una herramienta que, de forma ágil y eficiente, permite obtener claridad en las necesidades y oportunidades para proponer soluciones reales, como elemento fundamental en la pertinencia y viabilidad de implementar un espacio para las prácticas y experimentación referente al testing y la calidad de software, en la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, campus Popayán. Conclusiones: El diagnostico tecnológico abre las puertas a profundizar en el contexto del control de calidad y su pertinencia desde los entornos académicos y contribuye a la cohesión entre la industria software y el modelo enseñanza/aprendizaje del software.
