    The title of this article is inspired by the Dominican and Thomistic thought of the Colombian priest, Fray José de Jesús Sedano González, O.P., and in his reflection entitled “The Pedagogy of the Answer.” The starting point is the following question: Is the pedagogy of the response a pedagogical model? To answer this question, the following points should be kept in mind: (1) in a general way, applying the criteria of any pedagogical model to the pedagogy of the answer to know the type of man and society that they want to help form; (2) in a particular way, the fundamental theories and curricular components that guide the pedagogical proposal of the pedagogy of the response must be described; and (3) interpreting the pedagogical proposal of the pedagogy of the response is a horizon of conceptualization to propose a model of humanist pedagogy.
