El ensayo se acerca a las claves del estilo y el mundo narrativo del escritor Jaime Cabrera González, a quien el autor considera encarna una propuesta literaria que se hace notoria y distinguible en el contexto de la narrativa del Caribe colombiano y aún en el panorama más amplio de la cuentística colombiana actual. Para eso se han revisado los textos más representativos de Cabrera y en ellos se han podido hallar algunas de las señas particulares de una manera personal de expresar su visión de la literatura.AbstractThis essay aims to approach the keys of the style and the narrative world of the writer Jaime Cabrera González, whom I consider as the representative of a literary proposal that is evident and distinguishable in the context of the Colombian Caribbean narrative and even in the context of the current Colombian short story panorama. Hence, I have studied the most representative Cabrera’s works and I have found some particular signs of a personal way to express his view of literature.
