This paper is a characterization of the learning styles of students in first half of the University of Santo Tomas, home Villavicencio, the 2012-2 academic period. For this purpose we used the learning style questionnaire Honey-Alonso ( 1988), who define learning as a dynamic process that occurs in several ways. The development of this diagnosis to offer sorne methodological strategies to teachers and principals of each school in arder to have a positive impact on teaching practices of each other.
