This article describes how the Henri Didon sports course from the Humanities Department of the Universidad Santo Tomás, Villavicencio, may contribute to de development of the project ‘Rising Citizens in Brisas del Guatiquía, La Lambada and Las Delicias neighborhoods from Villavicencio, Meta-Colombia’, a project directed by the Social Responsibility department of the university. For this, there will be a description of the project, followed by a theoretical exposition of the most relevant concepts for the comprehension of the entanglements between physical activity and social work.
