This research aims to understand how the contents of adventure body practices are considered and developed in undergraduate courses in Physical Education offered by federal institutes in the Northeast, Brazil. It is a qualitative study based on a survey of the institutions conducted in e-MEC and subsequently a search of the course plans and topics in the digital platforms of each institute. Bardin's (2011) content analysis was used, with the main information represented in tables, figures and word clouds. Five campuses were found in the states of Bahia, Ceará and Paraíba, and only one subject focused on adventure, with a focus on sports within this content, reaffirming the need for (r)evolution in teacher training curricula.
